    The product

    Every year we search for the best oil produced in our beloved Tuscany. The first selection is made by tasting dozens and dozens of samples. The final selection takes place after all the chemical analyses have been carried out. The batch of products, before being bottled, is examined by the Consortium, which certifies its suitability to be defined as Tuscan extra virgin olive oil PGI. The Toscano Poggio de' Passeri is produced with the classic Tuscan olive cultivars: Frantoiano, Moraiolo and Leccino.

    • Fruity

      It indicates the presence of the typical fragrance of healthy, fresh olives picked at the optimal degree of ripeness.

    • Spicy

      It indicates the concentration of polyphenols, very healthy components for the human body.

    • Bitter

      It indicates the presence of phenolic compounds, with a high nutritional value and useful for the preservation of oil.

    However, we can say that an oil with an excellent organoleptic profile is usually also an excellent product from a physical-chemical and nutritional point of view.
