    The product

    The Biancolilla variety of olives is typical of the province of Agrigento but is grown throughout Sicily.

    It prefers the hilly environment near the sea where summers are dry and winters mild. Its name derives from the colors of its fruit: light green when it is unripe, red-lilac when ripe. The Biancolilla cultivar produces olive oils with a light fruitiness, fragrant and delicate on the palate.

    This variety has excellent nutritional value both for the balance of its acid composition and for the presence of high amounts of vitamin E. Mare indicates the best use of this olive oil: seafood cuisine.

    We also highly recommend it for all healthy and delicate cuisines. It is also the perfect olive oil to use on “frutti di mare” (seafood).
