    The product

The Biancolilla olive variety is typical of the Province of Agrigento, but it is grown throughout Sicily.

It prefers hilly environments even near the sea where summers are dry and winters are mild. Its name derives from the colors of its fruit: light green when unripe, red-lilac when ripe. The cultivar Biancolilla produces olive oils with a light fruity flavor, which are fragrant and delicate on the palate.

This variety presents excellent nutritional values because of both the balance of its acidic composition and the presence of high levels of vitamin E. Mare indicates to the consumer a precise and immediate use for this olive oil: seafood dishes.

However, we highly recommend it for all dishes of a healthy and delicate cuisine. With this product we want to propose the perfect seasoning for Seafood.

    • Fruity

It indicates the presence of the typical fragrance of healthy, fresh olives picked at the right degree of ripeness.

    • Bitter

    The Monovarietals

Our monovarietal olive oils present the cultivar on their label and find their natural collocation specifically in fine dining.

Fabbri Monocultivars are born to preserve and enhance biodiversity among varieties, an inestimable value for us.

They are also very important to let people know about the different cultural and territorial identities of Italian olive growing.
